Pageflows render dates in various places but, with the exception of values tied to <attributes/> in the quote object, the format of the rendering is hard coded.

The suggestion is that the pageflow should allow for the definition of date date format (or formats possibly for short, long, input). Consideration should also be given to I18N where the format associated with the user's locale should be used.
