This has become more of an issue recently as the version of SMB offered by the release of Alfresco currently integrated into OQ is not compatible with later releases of Windows or MacOS X. This seriously hampers productivity during product development.

The plan is to upgrade to the latest 3.3 release of alfresco community.

The update to the latest version of Alfresco has had a number of knock-on effect - especially around single signon. As the continued use of Alfresco beyond OQ 2.0 is open to question, it isn't worth the effort to fix this.
